Art Exhibition Space
At the BAKERY we are established to provide imaging services to industry
and our 5 studios total 4,500 square feet on two floors. We are warm,
clean, light and airy and make everyone feel welcome
Due to our normal activity being photography, we have substantial space
which is intended to be very flexible and lit in a variety of ways - this
provides for art exhibition space which is unsurpassed locally
Although various exhibition and display facilities are available in
the area, most are either expensive or somewhat restricted in the work
they can show
At the 
we encourage local artists and photographers to show their own work
- even if avant garde. We will show artefacts such as sculptures, if
we feel they are appropriate <
Exciting shows will be promoted providing the worker with an opportunity
to present his/her efforts in a semi-professional but low cost environment.
Presentation facilities will be provided for the artist
Each showing will become a permanent gallery as part of the
database
Expenses will be tailored to the needs of the artist
Although unlikely to attract much passing traffic, we are easy to find
and can park 100 cars for free
Day time security is easy to enforce with only one `minder’ and
at night time security is enhanced with a digital alarm system
Studio 1 on the ground floor
has 7 huge picture windows and is fitted with shutters to permit blackout
Studio 2 is used for small
pack work and doubles as our reception area
In studio 3 we have a large
infinity cove - this room also blacks out for slide projection and will
seat 15-20 people
Studio 4 is a large open,
first floor workspace normally used for daylight photography. Large
objects can be lifted to this floor with our cage and hoist. Seating
is available for up to 60 people
Studio 4 also has a fully fitted kitchen
which includes hob, oven and fridge
Studio 5 is also used as
a daylight work space. The room is 30x30 feet with open ceilings 6 huge
windows |
