Agents will find you work but take a commission from any job they get you

Whichever way you choose to go you need a portfolio of pictures

These do not have to be professional pictures but if you offer your services as a model it is an advantage to have good images

There are several different approaches to getting a portfolio started:

Commissioned shoot
You make an appointment, you specify what you want and we shoot you accordingly, you pay the photographer and pay for film prints or digital files on a CD-ROM or DVD

Photoshoot at our discretion, you give up your time and you can choose and purchase images after the shoot, either as prints or on a CD

First 5 images are £10ea, balance at £8ea, until total cost reaches an equivalent commissioned shoot

A4 prints are supplied on film paper

Shoots are only available Mon-Fri 10am-4pm - fill in an application

Your purchased pictures can also be published at BakeryPeople for free and you may use them for self promotion

Photoshoot with a photographer who exchanges his pictures for your modelling time - usually only available if you have some pictures to show - otherwise the photographer has no idea what you look like!

Photographer will probably want you to sign a release and allow you to only use pictures for your own promotion

No money changes hands, but the photographer will have to pay for studio time

The local camera store prints from CD at these prices
