TAKING METER READINGS

There is no substitute for taking meter readings, the light falling on your subject should be checked time and again. Quite small changes in the flash or subject position can be quite important.

Traditionally exposures were checked with polaroids but digital has made this cheaper and easier.

When setting up the shot the photographer needs to establish what lights will be needed and at what effective aperture each light will be set.

Then the actual setting for each must be measured individually and subsequently a reading to camera should be taken.

Incident readings are easier to work with but in some cases reflected or spot figures can be used.

BRONCOLOR FLASH METER
Can be used for flash or flash and ambient or multiple flash exposure checking.

This meter will adjust the power settings of Bron Grafit flash boxes remotely.
