PRESS RELEASE

BAKERY Foundation sponsors Miss Wrexham

Lucky Laura Willington chosen as Miss Wrexham in the Miss Great Britan contest 2003, is being sponsored by the BAKERY Photographic Foundation based in Cefn Mawr.

Laura, 21, employed at NEWI in Wrexham, is also a part-time fashion model which is how she first became known to the BAKERY.

Recently, Laura was the featured model at a BAKERY evening shoot with the Marchwiel Camera Club and some 15 local photographers took part.

The BAKERY digital photographic studios opened a year ago and offers the full gamut of image related services. In addition to having one of the few cyclorama coves outside of London, the studios are one of the best equipped in the country. In addition to advertising work and family portraits, the BAKERY tackles difficult images for special applications.

Truly a photographic home to both professionals renting space and lighting equipment or local amateurs seeking advice, the BAKERY is a centre of excellence and hosts events on behalf of the Royal Photographic Society.

The BAKERY also recovers spoiled pictures, green wedding portfolios and damaged prints.

Monthly model ‘castings’ are held and the BAKERY operates training courses for both groups and individuals.

If you would like to visit the BAKERY, make a diary note for the Wrexham Science Festival, when members of the public will be able to participate in a professional model fashion shoot and also see their pictures digitally manipulated into cartoon figures.
